# Holmes logo exploration v55-v60

This pass pulls the Sherlock-inspired direction back toward what Holmes actually does.

The creative position:

- Holmes is a local-first coding-agent memory product.
- It turns messy sessions into useful prompt context.
- It preserves source-backed evidence through Artifacts.
- It keeps reusable operating knowledge through Procedures.
- It scopes memory through Memory Spaces and Shared Workspaces.
- It makes handoffs cleaner for the next agent or teammate.

The detective/casework language is still present, but only as a frame: case brief, evidence trail, dossier, stamp. No hat, character, key, or generic Sherlock prop should lead the brand.

## Recommendation

Advance v55 Case Brief Packet first.

It is the best balance between product accuracy and memorable brand shape. It says memory, evidence, and handoff in one compact object: a clean case brief for the next agent.

Advance v60 Prompt Context Stamp second.

This is closest to Holmes' hot-path value. It frames Holmes as the local recall layer that stamps relevant context into the prompt at the right moment.

Advance v59 Agent Handoff Dossier third.

It is strongest for Shared Workspaces, teams, and agent-to-agent continuity. It feels more product-native than the earlier Sherlock concepts while keeping a casework flavor.

Keep v57 Memory Spaces Casebox as the most product-faithful alternate.

It directly maps to personal, project, task, and shared memory spaces. The risk is visual complexity at small sizes.

## Notes

v56 Evidence Trail is accurate for source-backed recall and Artifacts, but it currently reads more like a diagram than a master logo.

v58 Procedure Card is accurate for reusable operating knowledge, but it is too narrow unless Procedures become the headline brand story.
